Mcqueen A/W 2012 LFW

I say it too many times and I’ll say it again McQueen Rocks!!

The long awaited show was over in minutes, after all the waiting and anticipation finally it started at 9.20pm and it was worth every second.

The collection was of a love story, a love of McQueen and a love of great British style - from military coats to overblown ball gowns.

Alienesque models marched down the runway in thigh high polished lace up boots and heavy A-line military coats and dresses, embossed lace, A-line tulle skirts, cinched in waists and floral appliqués. Detailing was impeccable.

My Fav!

For the finale of the first McQueen show to grace London for some years, Kristen McMenamy stood in the centre of a leaf strewn catwalk wearing a floor length white tulle gown accessorised with a quizzical expression. As she bent down she found a rope hidden in the leaves only to reveal the sudden change in backdrop, trees and an all winter forest.

McQueen was always the master of fashion show as theatre. Breathtaking!
