The Death Of Snow White

Yesterday I was invited to the press preview of The Death of Snow White A Tragedy in Seven Days by Naupaca Dance Factory at The Meditterean Conferance Centre.

Anticipation started to build up as soon as I walked in MCC trying to look for a perfect spot in the theater to make sure I have a full view of the 10 minute preview that I was about to witness. Before I attended I made sure to listen to the soundtrack that was attached in the mail with the invite, which was orchestrated by Lukas Grech. Hearing the soundtrack already gave me goosebumps and a good idea what to expect. Perfection!

Here are a few snippets of the show:

The talented cast and crew gave a well rounded spectacle, It showed a lot of dedication and team work involved. But as expected the show was stupendous, showcasing a contemporary dance in it's highest artistic form. The professional synchronization of the dancers leaves you wanting more or in my case to join the Naupaca Dance Factory and learn contemprary dance :)

When the show ended we were then escorted by the accomplished Production & Costume Designer  Luke Azzopardi to an exclusive exhibition of the costumes which were exquisitely handmade. The costume collection was even more breathtaking up close, he skillfully managed to intertwine a collection of East meets Baroque splendidly.

This show is certainly not to be missed!

In the meantime enjoy the trailer

It will make it's debut on the 1st December at Aurora Opera House, Gozo and the 7th and 9th at the Mediterranean Conferance Centre, Malta. For bookings and information click here
