When technology merges with Fashion it always fascinates me. For SS 2013 Diane Von Furstenberg teamed up with internet giant Google to showcase their latest invention - GLASS an augmented reality head-mounted display. The neat pair of glasses consists of a small camera which allows the wearer to film and photograph their viewpoint whilst also interacting with the digital world in a similar way to a smart phone.
"Beauty, style and comfort are as important to Glass as the latest technology" said Google co-founder Sergey Brin. "We are delighted to bring Glass to the runway together with DVF."

I am so excited to introduce Glass to the fashion world and use this revolutionary technology to give everyone a unique perspective into fashion," said Diane von Furstenberg of the project.
It is the first time the glasses have been used by anyone outside of Google. I cannot wait to get my hands on them later this year when they will be available for the public.
This woman is such an inspiration I adore her.
