NEW SILHOUETTES, MORE AGED FINISHES AND ESSENTIAL BASICS
Once again, the SUITEBLANCO denim collection plays a special role at the start of the new season. Folk spirit, ethnic influences and vintage patchwork are the prominent features of the collection.
With elasticity as an important factor, jeans are still firmly committed to skinny or super skinny forms and the “push up” effect has become a must.
The wake of the 70s defines a more retro image. There are new silhouettes, such as the “flare” model (slightly flared) and drainpipes. The trail of the 70s also leaves higher shots, 100% cotton fabrics for a “destroy & dirty” effect and blues ranging from almost black to super washed.
Meanwhile, the folk tendency enriches and decorates the garments creating a combined denim based on crochet, suede and other more rustic fabrics to design unique patchworks. To this are added ribbons and fringes, ethnic embroidery, decorated trimmings and the application of studs, feathers or beads.
Although jeans are the real heart of the collection, SUITEBLANCOdefends the importance of other denim classics such as shorts, shirts and basic jackets or waistcoats, which come with an unmistakable rocker taste this time.
