Yesterday I had the pleasure to attend Sef Farrugia's event at the glamorously decorated Grey & Adler in Naxxar, showcasing her delicate and gorgeously printed bow-ties and scarves, but it did not just stop there. Oh no! She was also debuting her recent collabo with Grey & Adler for her new venture in home decor, which me thinks is totally amazing, chic and elegant to say the least. Can you image one of her famous silk graphic tiles printed on your cushions at home? I can and I am thrilled about this idea!
Her accessories line is titled Poppins which was the name of her ready to wear A/W 12/13 collection and will now also be the name of her home-line collection. For her home decor collection, she explained that the aesthetic of this line will also be inspired by Victorian & Edwardian childhood films such as Mary Poppins and has elements from the colonial exports of the time, hence the Arabesque/African motifs and an organic mix of prints and embroideries.
I am really looking forward to the launch of the full range of interiors by Sef which will be available at Grey & Adler later this year.
Always said this and will say it again Sef is one to look out for!
