You usually would associate the mermaid trend as a childhood fantasy with Walt Disney’s fairytales made mermaids, oysters, pearls and glitter seem whimsical but for spring 2012 the fashion crowd have spoken and have given this trend an urban twist.
The mermaid trend is an angelic, clean, sexy more mature version of how our fairytales princesses use to dress up in our favorite Walt Disney Movies. The spring 2012 runway incorporated this trend in the season’s clothes, hair and makeup looks.
